Welcome aboard

You're on the roster. Let's get to work.

Your athlete just gained a mentor who's walked the whole path. Four quick steps and we're officially underway — the first two take about two minutes combined.

Lock your spot — first month

Payment is personal, like everything else here: Venmo or Zelle — or cash if you'll see me at the pool. Send your tier's first month and note your athlete's name in the memo. Same amount, same date each month from then on; I'll send a request each cycle so you never have to remember.

Pay on Venmo — @slobo

Prefer Zelle? Send to (949) 241-9474 — the same number you'll be texting.

All-American $600 · Varsity $400 · Foundations $250

Book your first call

A relaxed call with your athlete and you. We'll go deep on goals, I'll give an honest read on where they are today, and I'll start building their development plan and recruiting roadmap. Grab a time that works for the whole family — this becomes their regular slot.

Fill out the intake questionnaire

Ten minutes, best done together as a family. Position, club and school situation, training schedule, academics, dream schools, injury history, and what you both want out of this. The more honest the answers, the better the first call — I read every word before we meet.

Save my number

This is the mentorship line — texts land directly with me, not an assistant. All-American athletes: text anytime within the guidelines below. Varsity and Foundations families: use it for scheduling, and use email for everything between calls.

Texting guidelines

Texting hours are 8am–8pm Pacific

Text anytime — I reply inside those hours, same day, within 24 hours at the outside.

A parent or guardian stays on the thread

Non-negotiable for athletes under 18. Full visibility for your family, from the first message.

Great things to text

Recruiting questions, a coach email to review, film clips, pre-game nerves, a tough practice, schedule changes.

Save the big stuff for calls

Anything that needs real back-and-forth — plan changes, school decisions, film breakdowns — gets its own call time.

What happens after the first call?

Within 48 hours of our first call, your athlete gets their personalized development plan and recruiting roadmap — and the weekly rhythm begins.

Questions before then? Email samuelslobodien@gmail.com — I answer everything myself.
